Alunos da Academia Sénior de Monchique plantam uma centena de Sobreiros na Serra de Monchique

Os alunos da Academia Sénior da Câmara Municipal de Monchique, plantaram no dia 05 de dezembro de 2014, cerca de 100 sobreiros (quercus suber) na Estrada que liga Alferce a São Marcos da Serra numa iniciativa integrada na 5.ª Edição do “Vamos reflorestar Portugal”.

 

A Academia Sénior de Monchique está em funcionamento pelo segundo ano letivo, sendo que esta atividade de plantação de sobreiros integrou o plano da disciplina de Cidadania/ Vida Ativa, por organização direta do Gabinete Técnico Florestal da Câmara Municipal de Monchique.

 

A “plantação” teve o apoio de funcionários da Câmara Municipal e contou com a visita do senhor Presidente da Câmara Municipal, Rui André.
